California is familiar long before you arrive: the coast, the roads, the light, the colors that seem to belong only here. For this campaign, those familiar elements are shifted slightly out of place — projected across bodies, enlarged, cropped and caught in passing light.

A familiar landscape, taken out of context. The coast becomes an image before it becomes a place again, closer to a swatch than a view. Elsewhere, rock face and shoulder briefly read as one material, an impossible sky passes for another afternoon, and a map offers every direction except the one being taken.

The clothes stay inside the world rather than apart from it. Light moves across skin and fabric, traffic turns to color, glass changes with the hour. For a few minutes, even the mountain wears the name. By evening, the hillside belongs to itself again.
